Shirley Owen Morgan, age 75, of Chase City passed away April 7, 2024. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church and the Chase City Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Morgan. Surviving is her daughter, Teresa Downey (Chad); brothers, Toy Lee Owen, Micheal Owen; sister, Susan Ward; grandchildren, Colton Boyter, Keely Downey, Skyler Downey; close friend, Joyce Conner; and her faithful companion “Dooby”. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at First Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chase City Vol. Fire Dept. P.O.
