Toy Lee Owen, age 70, of Chase City passed away December 27, 2024. He was the son of the late James & Bessie Owen and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Toy was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Morgan, and brothers, Billy Owen, Kenneth Owen, and Gene Watson. Surviving is his sister, Susan Ward (Hugh McGuire); brother, Mike Owen; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan’s bible study group at Chase City Nursing and Rehab.
