Charles Allen Wilkerson, age 70, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on January 24, 2025. He was a retired employee of VDOT. Charles was proceeded in death by his wife, Alice Rogers Wilkerson, his father Allen Tyree Wilkerson, his father and mother-in-law, James and Katherine Rogers, and a special uncle, Jimmie Wilkerson.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie Allgood Wilkerson; daughter, Allison Wilkerson Farrar (Will Stembridge); his grandchildren, Alyssa Farrar (Nathan), LeeAnne Stembridge (Zach), and Landon Stembridge; his best friend and uncle, Walter Allgood (Louise); aunts Barbara Gill and Lucille Blalock; sister-in-law’s Tracey Moody (Mark), Deborah Clark (Curtis), and Janice Colgate. Charles is also survived by a special cousin Carmen Wilkerson Bienick and many other cousins and family members.

Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Wood Funeral Chapel, with visitation at 1:00 and service at 2:00. Interment will follow at Fields United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Bacon District Fire Department P.O. Box 45,Wylliesburg, VA 23976.
