Fern K Beaulieu

Fern Kerschner Beaulieu, age 97, of Chase City was born October 10, 1917 in West Reading, PA and died November 20, 2014. She retired from Berkshire Country Club in Reading, PA with 26 years of service. She was a volunteer worker for Hospice and Martin Memorial Hospital of Stuart, Florida and a life member of the Deborah Heart Hospital and the Reading High School Alumni Association.  She was the daughter of the late Jennie Hummel and Claude Kerschner and was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Wolfe and a brother, Stanley Kerschner, a son, Edward and a grandson Craig Ramsey, Jr., her husbands, Warren Ramsey, Harry Markel and Art Beaulieu. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Mila Ramsey of Chase City, grandchildren, Ruth Diaz and Steven Ramsey, six step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Concord Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to CMH Hospice, 300 East Ferrell St., South Hill, VA 23970.
