Kermit A Thompson

Kermit A. Thompson, 88, of Fort Mitchell, died April 9, 2015. He was the widower of Charlotte Adams Thompson, a member of Salem Christian Church, a Navy veteran of WWII and a retired tobacco and cattle farmer, He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Bonnie Thompson and his faithful companion, Cinnamon. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Service.  Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Salem Christian Church. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to Salem Christian Church, 871 Mount Mitchell Road, Drakes Branch, VA 23937 and Southside  SPCA, PO Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954.
