Doris N Burnett

Doris Newcomb Burnett age 66, of Brookneal, died May 15, 2016. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Surviving are her companion, Ronnie Childress of Brookneal, brothers; Alvin Newcomb and wife, Ivy, and Melvin Newcomb and wife, Tracey, all of Saxe, nephews; Anthony Newcomb of Skipwith and Kevin Newcomb of Rock Hill S.C. and a niece; Candace Leonard of Henrico. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Hebron United Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
