Robert Eugene Phillips

Robert Eugene “Gene” Phillips, 73, of Chase City, died July 15, 2016. He was a self-employed contractor. He is survived by his sons, Eugene Phillips of South Hill, David Phillips of Richmond, daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Robert Burton of Chase City, sister and brother-in-law, May and Carrol Watson of Colonial Heights, grandchildren, Levi Phillips, Fancy Miller, Robert Burton, Jr., Anthony Burton, Bruce Phillips, Christopher Phillips, Jessica Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Ariel Phillips, Johnathan Phillips, Hannah Phillips, Abigail Phillips and Noah Phillips, great grandchildren, Willow Miller, Gabriella Watson, Nathaniel Watson, Ares Nichols, Athena Nichols, Jacey Phillips, Dakota Phillips and Ivy Palacious and a special friend of the family, Reid Davis. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Plantersville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the home.  Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, is serving the family.
