Rosa Snead Duckworth

Rose Lee Duckworth, 87, of Chase City, died January 28, 2017. She was the widow of James Luther Duckworth and was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Duckworth and a daughter, Hilda Dunaway. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, and a retired employee of Jonbil, Inc. She is survived by her children, Joe Duckworth, Billy Duckworth, Tommy Duckworth, Mike Duckworth and Terry Simpson; brothers, Curley Snead and Ted Snead, sister, Bessie “Tootie” Strange, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4 at Wood Funeral Chapel with the Rev Bobby Duckworth officiating.
