Nancy Owen Ashworth

Nancy Owen Ashworth, 77, of Drakes Branch, passed away on July 29, 2017. She was the widow of Luther A. Ashworth and was also preceded in death by a son, Tony Allen Ashworth. She was a member of Plantersville United Methodist Church and is survived by her daughter, Brenda Conner of Drakes Branch, son, Russell Ashworth and wife, Deborah of Drakes Branch, brother, Leroy Owen of Elizabeth City, NC, grandchildren, Natalie Barton, Candace Ashworth, Melanie Ann Burger and husband, John, great grandchildren, Darrell Burger and Daria Burger. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Plantersville United Methodist Church, with Herman Newcomb officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
