Linard S. Bayne

Linard Saunders Bayne, age 86, of Chase City, passed away July 15, 2018. Linard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired bookkeeper for Fitz Motor Company and a member of Plantersville United Methodist Church. Linard is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Bayne, sisters, Barbara Williams, Betty McKinney and husband John, brother – in- law and sister- in- law Gordon and Nancy Ashworth, numerous nieces and nephews, and a faithful friend, Evelyn Newcomb.  Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Ashworth Family Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #43.  The family will receive friends at the home at all times.
