Lawrence “Larry” Alva Vanderpool Sr, age 67, of Chase City, passed away January 16, 2019. Larry was a retired employee of The Town of Chase City and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Vanderpool, sons, Albert Vanderpool and wife, Charlotte, Larry Vanderpool Jr. and Mary, Dustin Vanderpool, Dylan Vanderpool, daughter, Brittany Smith and Quan, grandchildren, Jessica Rabb and husband, Kyle, Adam Vanderpool and fiancé, Megan, Albert Vanderpool Jr. and Sammie, Martha Vanderpool, Amanda Cook and husband, Andrew, Tychelle Callis, Ashley Callis, Keyasia Callis, T.J. Vanderpool, Adrian Vanderpool, Ronald Burk-Bryan and wife, Jessica, Jonathan Vanderpool Sr., Chris Saunders, 12 great-grandchildren, special friends, Freddie Martin and wife, Cathy, Dana Harmon, Shelby Hayes, Suzette Wright, and Martha Hite.
