Lewis Hawkins

Lewis Hawkins, 78, of Chase City, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019. Lewis was a retired mechanic with Bowman’s Garage, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Joy Hawkins, sister, Nellie Liles of Chase City, brothers, Melvin Hawkins of Gloucester, Robert Hawkins and wife, Barbara of Clarksville, nieces, Pam Reese, Christina Liles, and a nephew, Chris Hawkins. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 9040 Trottinridge Road, Chase City, VA 23924. Wood Funeral Service, of Chase City, is serving the family.
