Andrew Scott “Scotty” Newton, age 44, of Chase City, passed away July 2, 2019. Scotty was a welder who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tubing. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Nellie Newton of Chase City, children, Christopher Morris of Stuarts Draft, Logan Estep of Amelia, brothers, Richie Newton of Chase City, Jody Newton of Chase City, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and 3 great nephews. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Black Branch Baptist Church Children’s Fund, 3370 Highway 47, Chase City, VA 23924.
