Josephine Gregory Spears

Josephine Gregory Spears, age 90, of Clayton NC, and formerly of Chase City, passed away July 19, 2019. Josephine was the widow of William David “Bill” Spears Sr, and preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle Spears, brothers, Jack Gregory, and Billy Gregory. She is survived by her son, David Spears, grandchildren, Greg Tart, Patrick Tart, Christie Hays, Amber Harkey, great-grandchildren, Adeline Tart, Gabe Tart, Trent Stephens, Asa Hays, Reuben Tart, and Zeke Tart. Services will be held 2 PM, Friday, July 26, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
