Dean Allen Harris

Dean Allen Harris, age 68, of South Boston, passed away July 13, 2020. He was a retired supervisor with Dominion Energy, and was also employed with Southside Virginia Community College and Kings Dominion.  Dean was a member and Treasurer of Black Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, John Allen Harris, his father, John Harris, and the mother of his children, Betty Evans Harris. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Harris; daughter, Heather Harris; step-children, John Robert Levesque, Suzette Badalamenti, Aimee Murphy, and Renee Stephens; mother, Virginia Harris; brothers, Dan Harris and Rodney Hudson; sister, Janet Harris; and 5 step grandchildren. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Black Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Joshua Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
