Barry Lee Morgan

Barry Lee Morgan, age 73, of Chase City passed away December 3, 2021. He was an Army veteran of The Vietnam War, a retired employee of Phillip Morris, and a member of the Chase City Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Morgan; daughter, Diane Ghant; step daughter, Teresa Downey; mother, Elizabeth Childress; brothers, John Morgan, Earl Morgan, Bobby Morgan, Kenneth Morgan, Sonny Morgan; sisters, Anita Noehren, Patricia Watts, Donna Morgan, Linda “Bitsy” Jennings; grandchildren, Aaron Anderson, Allen Paul Anderson, Colton Boyter, Keely Downey, Skyler Downey; 6 great grandchildren; and faithful companion “Dooby”. Services will be 2 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church, followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Chase City Vol. Fire Department, P.O.
