Thelma Bollinger Pennell

Thelma Bollinger Pennell, age 90, of Chase City passed away February 13, 2022. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Thelma was the widow of Buran Pennell and preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Pennell Collins. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Wayne Sheffield; grandchildren, Jonathan Collins, Amber Orr (Nathon), Sarah Durham (Brandon), Daniel Sheffield; great grandchildren, Gabriel Collins, Crystanna Collins, Tyler Turman, Bryan Long, Scarlett Orr, Sadie Orr; son-in-law, Tommy Collins. Services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday at Woodland Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Chase City Nursing & Rehab for their care shown to Thelma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Youth Fund, 2526 New Hope Rd. Skipwith, Va. 23968.
