Norman Braxton Johnson

Norman Braxton Johnson, age 87, of Skipwith, VA, went home to be with his “Good Master” on March 10, 2022. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Readie and Rochal Johnson of Skipwith, VA, and by his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Barbara Johnson of Keysville, VA. He is survived by nieces, Valerie J. Clark of Creedmoor, NC., Susan J. Clark & husband, Rusty of Chesterfield, VA, and Martha J. Garber of Ashland, VA. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Norman was a lifetime resident of Skipwith and member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was well-known and well-loved by his family, friends, and community. The family would like to thank Norman’s church family and neighbors for their many acts of kindness.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 14, at 2:00 pm at Woodland Mausoleum, Chase City. Wood Funeral Service is serving the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.woodfuneralservice.com.
